33% Women's Reservation In 2029 Lok Sabha Elections? Centre Begins Preps

The women's reservation provisions will come into effect only after a fresh delimitation of parliamentary constituencies.

As per news report of NDTV,The Centre is preparing to implement 33 per cent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha beginning with the 2029 general elections. This move follows the passage of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, a constitutional amendment bill designed to increase women's representation in national politics, sources have said.
