2,661 Indian Fishermen Repatriated From Pakistan Since 2014: Centre

In a written response to a query in the Upper House, Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, also said the government attaches high priority to the safety, security and welfare of Indian fishermen.

As per news report of NDTV,Due to sustained efforts by the Centre, 2,661 Indian fishermen have been repatriated from Pakistan since 2014, the government informed the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. In a written response to a query in the Upper House, Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, also said the government attaches high priority to the safety, security and welfare of Indian fishermen.
