New Traffic Rules In Prayagraj Ahead Of Next Big Day At Maha Kumbh

A large number of people are likely to visit the Maha Kumbh on February 12 on the occasion of Maghi Purnima Snan (bath).

As per news report of NDTV,Prayagraj authorities have issued new restrictions ahead of the next big day at the Maha Kumbh. As the city expects crores of devotees to take a dip on the occasion of Maghi Purnima - the fifth of the six sacred days for the 'snan' - cops have clamped down on traffic movement in the city. The restrictions follow a stampede that killed at least 30 pilgrims during the early hours of January 29.
